Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Walking with God

Is walking with God walking alone?

An interesting question, no?   I can think of at least 3 ways to answer it.

Which are you?:

Yes.   God doesn’t exist.

Yes.  You ARE God.   God is self.

No.  God is with us, with all of us, IN us, indwelling, present psychically, the holy spirit, the holy ghost.  In your mind, hearing your thought/prayer.   In your heart, like a dead relative.  You bring God with you, like the old joke about a fat person carrying 2 bodies in there.  (your psyche is plural, like possessed or schizophrenic or telepath, or God “we”).   Like a guardian angel, a better angel, warring with the demons, or ego/superego/id/thanatos, maybe..

No.  You’re walking with your lover.  (the one)

Or, walking with me, for example.   (An actual person.)

(doesn't have to be a guru, priest, shaman, father))

through him, with him, and in him, as they say

You are not alone.  No one is ever alone.

Or, you are alone, even in a crowd.  We all die alone.
