Higher Power
1. Well, literally, using E=mc2 : an average human body (70kg) is the energy equivalent of 6.3x10 to the 18th joules, or (10) hundred megaton hydrogen bombs (!). (Nagasaki was 21 kilotons)
2. Another angle on HP is the human brain: 86-100 Billion neurons (roughly equivalent to the number of stars in our Milky Way galaxy), with 100 Trillion connections.
3. I need to be God, Otherwise I'd be the Devil... I submit to you, I should submit to no one. !! I am my own man. (conflict between "if I can't be my own, I'd feel better dead" vs. corporate Godco (One bread, one body/ "do you not know that you are not your own?"). Mindlessly submitting, taking orders, chain of command, like priests or soldiers. Then again, open-mind as a parachute, admitting all perspectives, god is love, love believes all things... (like quantum computer, simultaneous).
F Scott Fitzgerald, "the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to f(x). " (if you submit/assent to the superior wisdom of FSF!)
There are lots of powers, not just one, so many people, such as those who specialize, have higher intelligence or wisdom or authority or experience, to be respected, if not submitted to. Different types of intelligence. Athletic, kinesthetic prowess. Genius. Combat. Math. High-powered lawyers. Your local tailor. Etc. Etc.
