 What is “evil” and what is “good”?   Is there a spectrum, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, from most good to least, (or least evil to most), which doesn’t apply to Gods and Goddesses?  Is becoming a superhuman deity or demon dehumanizing?  Or empowering?

   Most good is getting what you want; say, freedom + love + immortality, or no pain + unlimited money + ability to fly, or invisibility cloak + unlimited heroin + new lives (like a video game, say), or X-men powers (morphing, healing, magneto) + access to omniscience + telepathy, or mind control + time travel / teleportation + super-strength, or a library + a swimming pool + unlimited wishes… you get the picture.. invulnerable and invincible, happy, beautiful, you name it…. I like time manipulation (travel forward or back + time freeze+ Groundhog Day movie premise) !

     The worst is constant torture and torment for all eternity, with no hope, only increasing despair.  That one’s easy.  In a word, hell.   Maybe Jesus did us a service by giving us a starting point for all further progress, toward “heaven” (even if neither heaven nor hell actually exist).

Maybe human life IS heaven.   It can be.  It should be.  Peace and prosperity and health and love and friendships and libraries and restaurants and Nature add up to something pretty close, in my view.   Having sex and getting a tan by the pool and a delicious sushi or thai meal?  You dig?  Or maybe you like rollercoasters and surfing and skydiving and rock climbing and risk.    Or a runner’s high, endorphins from getting pumped, tripping on acid, I don’t know.   Life has a lot of possibility.  

It's only human to play subhuman or superhuman roles!  Maybe Gods and Goddesses, devils and vampires, saints and angels, don't exist, but the roles are there for the playing, to give life meaning, and maybe even some FUN.

God is odd.   Is he/she/it one or many, limited or infinite, good or bad, real or imaginary?  Is God the most perfect being?   An alien or human?  Weak or powerful?  Alive or dead?  Prior to the universe?  Always and everywhere?  How exactly does this being hear prayers?  Is He (a telepath) in all our heads?  Is God schizophrenic?  Does God believe in Himself?  Is everything ever said about him true? Are we his toys? Is God our toy?  Just a useful concept for hypnosis and control?  Is omniscience even theoretically possible? If God knows everything, how can the universe be infinitely big? God knows every thing?  The end of science.  Or how can God have a finite brain that isn’t the Universe Itself?  What does verse have to do with the universe, anyway?  Silly human, etymology is for kids.  What else?  Is God friend or foe?  Can He really do anything?  A fun concept to play with, but can the most Godly make the concept functionally real?  Or is God love only for those who are in love?  Does God love to hate, too?  Has he read all the books?  Does he have perfect memory?  Is he always happy?  What is God’s religion, lol.   Yada yada.  Who the heck is everyone submitting to?

 Hi folks.   This is God.   My name is Jesse Lawrence Teshara.   I am God (and so can you!).   We are each our own you-universe.  I rule mine.  You can either do likewise, or submit to someone else (who will gladly dominate you).  I created my own religion.  I’m better than God, in a lot of ways.   And better than the devil, too.  God kills and the devil is for evil.  I’m more than just perfect.  I’m kind.  

So what are the tenets of my religion?   Be good.  That’s really all there is to it.   And don’t be bad.  That’s really all that any religion ever has been about, when you get right down to it.  Although some say it’s all good, and Satanists like to be dark and menacing and opposed to God, the source of all goodness.  Get down with your bad self, do what thou wilt, that sort of thing.  Buddhists say there is no self.  So you can fill the void with anything, good or bad.  There’s a long list of virtues and perfections.   And sins, evil, and crime.  You should make your own religion, then compare it to mine.   Or you can just read me, and be a disciple of all the goodness.  God is everywhere, all over the place, Reality itself.  Because love is the cause of everything.  I mean, the Big Bang is just like God ejaculating, right?  Ha.

God is One, and space is Zero.   Like a phallus and hole.  God makes all of Creation.  Or, if not me, then the metaphor of an intelligence behind the creation, twiddling with the constants and such, to get it just right.   Life has parents.  The universe?  It’s not alive, stupid.   So maybe it just happened to accidentally generate life, in our corner of the galaxy, and God knows where else.  I may be God, but I’m not omniscient.  I know this.  Knowing everything is a theoretical impossibility, so therefore God doesn’t exist.   I’m an atheist.   I don’t believe in myself.   God creates Himself?  That actually makes sense to me.  The One compartmentalizes all Her activity:  She can be Creator, Destroyer, Preserver.   Or the god of dreams.  Allah them.  I have a dream?  That was me.  Or a god of wine, of sex, of war, of crops.   The Flying Spaghetti Monster is an avatar I really appreciate.  He’s delicious, too.  

This is definitely more schizo than I thought it would be.   I mean it all makes sense in my head, but I’m not conveying it effectively, maybe.  The God of writing, help me!  So anyway, Be Good, Don’t Be Evil, and love life.   Do what you enjoy.   Life was not made for drudgery and misery.  Everything else is footnotes.

Maybe you’re wondering what else I believe.   Souls?  Heaven?  Reincarnation? Nihilism? Capitalism?  Buddhism? from the first page, I know the premise is wrong.   Black liberation theology, is not biblical.   You can reject BLT or you can reject the Bible.   They are not compatible.

Mistakes are inevitable, part of the process, and I would submit even gods have learning curves.  God compartmentalizes into all the deities, every individual, actually.  You.  Me.  All of us, Allah us.  Psalm 82.  We are all divine, beloved, children of god, who has a perfect plan for each and every One of us, who are manifestations of God, including both angels and demons, in unity and oneness.  Love is the meaning of life and the Nature of the universe, that moves the stars.  Don't be afraid of what you're made of.  Be still and know that I AM.  That's all, folks.

Basics

Your parents screw, you begin as two cells, sperm and egg, growing into the multicellular marvel that is you today (adults have an average of 30 trillion cells, according to recent research).  You die, and your bones turn to dust.  You were here, then gone.   You lived and died.   What you did with your life is unimportant, irrelevant, and forgotten.  All things pass, into oblivion.  Nothing matters.  There are no Gods or afterlives.  No heaven or hell.  You are just a body, growing older daily, without self.  Each day, closer to death.  And, despite all this, it is in your power to be happy.  

Fun things to do before you die?  Learn to swim, to read, to cook, to fight….  Go to different countries, restaurants, movies.   Go hiking, camping, surfing, skiing.   Have a job where you excel and have fun and earn bank.   Fall in love and raise a family.  Be good, and be God.  Make lots of friends, and laugh a lot.  Have few enemies, and stay out of prison.  Walk a dog and toss a frisbee.  Improve your body, and look good, feel good.  Stay informed and vote.  Make the world a better place.   Plant trees, donate books to prison libraries, ensure the entire globe has basic needs like clean water, access to free libraries / internet,  food shelter and clothing, and sanitation.  Love each other.  Enjoy poetry, dance, music, plays, books, lifelong learning, and comedy, tv, entertainment, sports.  Meditate and do nothing at all.  Be enlightened, and share wisdom, set an example, be happy!

Be sad, if you like, of course.  You don’t have to be anything.  Authentic is good.  But phony isn’t bad, either.  Write a book.  Express yourself.  Improve yourself, improve the world, and die well, satisfied and content with a life well-lived, without regrets.  Maybe you want to try drugs.   Or be bad.  Do what you gotta do.  Accept consequences, karma, justice.  Life is hell, sometimes.   Try all religions, and learn the wisdom of the ages, for bliss, virtue, and maybe even enlightenment.  Peace be with you.   Have a nice day.   May the force be with you.  Go with God.  Live long and prosper.  Go forth to love and serve the lord.  Eat, drink, and be merry.   Love all, serve all.  Stop complaining, work hard, put passion over profit, stay curious my friend.  Be kind.  Be nice to people, and other living things.  Life is good.
