I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Wicked Evil Sinful Turpitude

Pure Evil

Why does God exist?  Because the devil makes him necessary.  But if neither exist, the world becomes grey and drab and boring, everything neither good nor bad, just neutral and without priority or preference, nothing better than anything else, everything equal, from planet to grain of sand, or from making love to blowing your nose, from heroin high to suicidal low, and from poetry to meaningless rants of a drunken homeless schizophrenic, babbling to himself.   Without God and Devil, there is no virtue or vice, saints or sinners, love or hate, bliss or abject misery.  Is this true?   Or just something I enjoyed writing?  Everything is just matter, energy, chemicals, spacetime, life is an illusion, everyone destined for oblivion, annihilation, gone without a trace, like bubbles, in an endless sea, a froth of human scum on the surface of a rock in space, self-important and deluded and stupid.

So let’s get this party started, shall we?  Let’s get as evil as humanly possible.  And we all know humans are the most evil creature in the universe.  Because we need God.  Right?

Satanic verses:

Evil is pain, and misery, and depression.   So torture and crime and poverty and nihilism are in order, to the highest degree possible.   Torture everyone.   Make everyone homeless.  Bring the economy crashing to its knees.  Starvation and privation and abject squalor.   No clean water.  Mass hysteria.  The whole planet forced to resort to cannibalism.  Make the whole world go to war.  Force people to fight.  Blow up entire cities with nuclear bombs.  Make the weather too hot, too cold, full of hurricanes and flooding and drought and tornadoes.  Maybe the devil can make earthquakes, too.   And throw in some asteroid collisions, plagues, famine, poisonous air, water, soil, vast and ongoing extinctions, more and more cement, pollution, plastic, oil spills, death, and destruction.  Show no mercy.  Kill ‘em all.  Go insane.  Go on a murder rampage and rack up those kills like a video game.  Be the worst.  Aim high, be more evil than Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot.   Kill the entire planet.  Kill yourself.  Kill your family.  Engineer diseases that cause maximum suffering to the widest number of victims.  Boil the oceans.  Eat babies.  Hack off limbs with machetes.  Blind people with chemical sprays.  Free all the prisoners.  Have private prisons that tattoo entire bodies, tie people down, subjecting any and all to rape and beatings and whips and thumb screws and the rack and pulling off fingernails and cutting out tongues and chopping off fingers and breaking every bone in everyone’s body.  Iron Maidens and stoning and mutilation.  Drowning.  Set loose all the demons on a sinful, wicked, rotten, corrupt populace.  Put the inter in internet.  Set the forests on fire.  Neutralize the police, let anarchy reign.  Murder, mayhem, looting, vandalism, bombings, savagery…. Unleash depraved evil on police stations, churches, fire stations, government offices, schools, hospitals, businesses, markets.   Rip babies from mother’s wombs.  Bash bastards with baseball bats.  Spite, malice, and cruelty should be the norm.  Life is hell.   Death is hell.  Earth is hell.  Eat the rich.  Mechanize killing on a vast scale.  Slaughter anything that moves.  Flame throwers and throwing acid on people’s faces and molotov cocktails and terrorism and learned helplessness and stimulus deprivation and anger, hatred, rage, wrath, fury.  Neuralgia.  Fry the hellions every Friday.  Branding irons.  Hopelessness, despair, giving up, weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth, armageddon, apocalypse, holocaust, genocide, ethnic cleansing, blow up the outside world, homicide, suicide, ecocide, ruthless brutality, no quarter, mindless savagery, slavery, sorrow, sickness….

God, to the rescue!  Grace. Heaven and bliss and love and joy and warmth, friendship, kindness, ecstasy and eternal life with endless delights to arouse and entertain and amuse.  Fun and games.  Sex, intimacy, pleasure, massage.  God is infinite, god is good, and god is love.  Evil is good because it gives God something to do.  Thanks, devil!  Does this hold water?  Or am I full of shit?  Something to chew on.  Sure as hell, the threat of evil is real, but the promise of utopia is also possible, for a world with compassion, mercy, charity, kindness, and love.   The devil is a dick.  Satanists don't know what the hell they're playing with.  And atheists are harmless, if not absolutely right, virtuous, and on the path to God, (!).  Sanity demands a reckoning with madness.  And war is just stupid, alright?  If war is hell, then peace is heaven.  But we're capable of so much more potential and promise, the possibility of paradise!  A utopian here and now.   Buddhism, if not a deity.  Nirvana, enlightenment, meditative absorption, bliss.

GR: 1. the story of president (#20) Garfield's assassination is nuts: the gunman, Guiteau, a Stalwart (anti-Garfield faction, like the veep), shot him twice; after 80 days of suffering, Garfield died, basically because of inept doctors, who shoved unsterile fingers into the wound, poked a hole in his liver, and didn't operate because they thought the bullet was inaccessible (the autopsy showed otherwise, causing outrage);  Guiteau claimed the doctors killed Garfield, not he, but Guiteau was convicted and executed (hanged), anyway, TH: 2. baby Babington, 3.
