Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

What we do

Some lists

We sense and perceive
We think, say, and do
We input and output
-input: hear, see, smell, taste, touch, (and intuit).
e.g.: read, watch, listen
-output: create, write, talk, communicate
We maintain: eat, exercise, sleep
We work and play
We experience negative, neutral, and positive
-it just was, or did it annoy, or was it enjoyed
We move ideas and things around
We are still and we move
We inhale and we exhale

beliefs
We live and we die
We grow and we decay
We learn and we ignore
We remember and we forget

Positive play with an active mind and body, stimulating every sense, with a clear head that perceives and processes well, and work satisfaction, punctuated by calm and stillness, would seem to be the maxim, therefore. Keep in mind the neutral can be annoying or enjoyment. Make like a coffee, and expresso yourself.
