God is a man of war
(Exodus 15:3, in the Song of Moses)
As the art of war is deception, so this means I am a man of peace.
(It could also mean I am a woman of war, or a woman of peace)
I make war on war
I'm not a very good warrior, apparently
The secret says anti-war makes more war
So I'm just pro-peace, now

Conservatively, that's 239,986,000 dead. Liberally, that's 380,970,000. That's just in wars that killed a million or more. There have been plenty more wars with less death. Heck, a murder is basically a war between two people. I wonder how many people have been killed in human history. (Remember the song, let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me).
So that's 33 wars (that killed a million or more). That's how old Jesus was when he died. It also makes me think of the star of David. What got me started on this post was the u-tube video I pasted into this blog about the CIA's "Third World War" (the third down), as coined by the former high-ranking CIA officer/National Security Council member, John Stockwell. It quotes 6 million deaths, but also says it's the 3rd largest casualty figure of any war, which leaves it possible there were 60 million deaths). Did you know that tribes of chimps have been known to engage in warfare, as have colonies of ants? I want to say I hate you guys, but I'm God, so I guess I still love you all. God is love. I am that, I am. Thou shalt not kill, alright? Love believes all things. This means that you must tolerate ambiguity, and that contradictory things can both be true, for different people, for the same people at different times, or in different ways.
May 17 was the 'third Saturday in May', which made it Armed Forces Day. Last year, it was the 19th. I know, because that was the date I got married. Happy Anniversary, babe! Many peaceful, non-military societies have been and still do exist. Let's everybody make the entire globe one.
