Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Curiosity, Numbers, Trump

#'s: bean counting and number crunching
curiosity: who what where when why how which

some thoughts on trump
is a grifter, and a racist, and a rapist, and sick (the glass of water thing!).  the lying, the sheer magnitude, who does that? why?
it's just a show, a game, he's totally unserious about leadership
it's all about image and approval ratings, and the stock market
only I can fix it? what the fuck was that? what a load

He has no respect for nature, so I have no respect for him.

at least he galvanizes.  the Wapo has a running tally of his lies.
and he forces critical thinking, because he's completely untrustworthy

but
he was never a president -
he's just gratifying his ego, trying to feel important, boss everybody around -
but never presidential
let's just ignore him, and then forget him

and celebrate when he's gone
Biden has a team.  Trump is solo.
consensus or diktat
patriot and idiot

my conception of being presidential is, the criteria for being a true president, are:
a) set an example, serve, make the country (and the world) better
b) inspire and unify the citizenry
c) improve, develop, and enrich the country
d) don't be a lying prick
