Well, maybe we are, in terms of life...But planets? Whew! The universe is absolutely teeming with them. So no life anywhere would be an absolutely astronomically low probability, I would imagine. Beam me aboard! Teleportation would be the coolest thing in the universe. You could see and seed planets and stuff. If it exists, then maybe all or some of earth's life originated from outer space.
