Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Messiah Complex

Is a messiah complex the same as a God complex?

It's not complex; It's simple: I'm God. And I don't want to "save" anyone. Truth be told, I don't even know what that means. I guess it means several things: saved from death, saved from hell, saved from temptation, saved from oblivion, saved for heaven, saved like a file on a computer/ remembered, or saved from suffering. I happen to think hell is just a state of mind, whilst alive, like suffering or guilt. Anyway,

A messiah is a jewish savior, no? Isn't it a jewish term? I'm not jewish. There's that rock song, just save yourself... I guess that's just about making informed choices for your own well-being and happiness. The psychesphere, as I like to call it, is a virtual world of psychic discipline and "the force" which can make you feel good or be completely fascist. Some call it the "holy spirit." I call it annoying. Why is there a flow you have to go with, vibes...
