Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Buenos Dias

Bonjour

Up at 8:30a, ate my VORG, listened to whrb jazz and flash briefing, zapped abs, and spotted the “ghost” (Aaron, the rarely seen roommate).  Erased all today’s emails I don’t want to read (leaving 5 I DO want to process, in future).  Shot a text to Karen to watch The Daily Show tonight and/or Colbert (the internet is maddeningly vague on what time they’ll be on Pacific Time).. I had a dream with David Letterman in it (!).   And a voice that said ‘the world is so goddamn sad’.  So I think I’ll show up at her place around 8p tonight.  I don’t care if it’s a rerun.  I haven’t seen it in years.   She says I’m always welcome.  Haven’t heard from Ymca yet.  I want to go swimming.  BLT for lunch, with guac instead of mayo.  I found a few more interesting-looking books: “A short history of tractors in Ukrainian” and “Cyberia: life in the trenches of hyperspace” and “The Little Book of Scientific Principles, Theories, and Things”.   Busy busy.  I have both Freakonomic and SUPERfreakonomics, too.  I’ll do pushups, planks, and kindle now.  Busyness.   My form of money, income.  Maybe I’m as healthy as Carlos Slim.  That’s worth something.

Eric and Erica in America, reading erotica and esoterica!
