Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Reasons Not to Kill

Why Not?

Risk of capture.  Lack of freedom.
It’s illegal, criminal, unlawful, and awful.
Staring at the walls of a prison cell.  Boredom.
Stuck in prison with murderers, cutthroats, assassins, and hostile and unpleasant people.
danger, stress, rape, fear and anxiety, loss of control.
gangs, shivs, prison guards, claustrophobia, fights
Separation from family and friends
Inability to be meaningfully employed, make good money.  Poverty, less money for family.
Because if the victim is just biomass, then so are you.
It causes pain and suffering, for the victim, and the victim’s family, and society at large
Anger, hatred, rage, wrath, fury, ire:  justice, torment.
It robs the victim of their future.  Deprivation.
Stuck inside.  No Nature.
No control over diet, meals.
Cellmate, lack of privacy.
No women.
Libraries, books, music, movies, museums, plays, perks of freedom and civilization.
Karma.  Kill and be killed.
Reputation.  Infamy.  Disrepute.  Family shame.
Schedule, structure, apart from personal preference (meals, yard, sleep)
telephone, television, visit restrictions
Death penalty
Barbaric, inhuman, monstrous, cruel, brutal, ruthless
Wicked, Evil, Sinful:  Hell, torture.
Unforgiven.  Resentment.  Disgust.  Dismay.
It’s retarded.  Life is good.
It’s antisocial and sick:  the ill in kill.
Everyone deserves to live, there is good in everyone.
God says not to: thou shalt not
The odds are against you.  Forensic science is awesome.
Stink, stench, need to dispose of body, evidence; bother
Defy the devil!

Love life, :-)
