Deconstructed:
Shun is a part of the word.
ABO is a blood type categorization.
A bore might be the debate.
A soldier might abort a mission.
Eating a fetus would be an abortion portion.
Abortion is a big business. There’s a porsche in abortion!
A martian abortion - has a ring to it.
Extortion and contortion and other cavorting notions:
Exertion, cushion, lotion, motion, notion, potion, insertion, position, flushin’
anyway,
Induced abortion is murder. Life begins at conception, period. It doesn’t require nuance.
The doctor and the mother should both go to prison after electing and performing an abortion. If a fetus is just a clump of cells, then so is any adult - and murder becomes justified. If abortion is legal, so is homicide. This is obvious. Adults are just bigger, older fetuses. Aborticide, infanticide. If you don’t want your baby, then you can just kill it and eat it, like an abortion or meat. If your baby is the enemy, you can kill it, like a soldier or terrorist. Do you see how heinous abortion is? Do you feel the anguish of entire lifetimes, snuffed? If life is truly respected and protected, then so are animals in the meat industry.
Humans are animals, too. I wouldn’t extend equality to nematodes, but you still could. So which is it? Meat and murder, or vegetarian and pro-life? Killing is a fact of life. Republicans seem to like their meat, while democrats like abortions, or at least the supposedly feminist-empowering right of a woman over her own body. If a woman wants to cut off her arm or leg, then she can, right? Or, maybe the metaphor of a slave is more apt: her body, her property, to do what she wants with. I think making a baby is a superpower. You want to kill the magic, and make the kid disappear? Nobody’s perfect, they say. Well, maybe the freaking baby! If you’re pro-death, go all the way. Kill ‘em all. And if you’re pro-life, you’re against capital punishment, war, meat, murder, smoking, etc. in addition to abortion. It’s a life-ethic. Life is good! Any whale would say so about the zillions of krill he survives on.
(a blue whale eats 40 million krill (8000 pounds) a day for a 4 month period, internet says! that's 4 billion, 800 million krill, estimated total, per whale)!! There is an estimated 10-25 thousand of them alive. They are the largest animal known to have ever existed!).
They probably wouldn't make very good Jains, as it seems they are constitutionally incapable of ahimsa! ("recent scientific studies have shown that crustaceans have central nervous systems very much capable of creating the sensation of pain" -3/25/2011, internet)
Why would God do that? lol. Krill's combined biomass is estimated to exceed that of humanity. Each one is about as long as a thumb, weighing less than an ounce. Antarctic krill populations have dropped 80% since the '70's.

I don’t know what else to say. Maybe that a mother is intimately close to her baby, attached in fact, and this fact should elicit love and care, not revulsion and attack. Adoption is of course the only loving alternative (choice) for an unwanted pregnancy. I’m adopted. I know. Thanks, Annette, for not aborting me! (Even though I ended up killing her other child. Ugh.) Apparently, there are 2.6. million couples in the US wanting to adopt, (That's more than the number of US abortions, which was around 638,000 in 2015).
(in the world, there are 40-50 million a year; approximately 125,000 a day).

Another relevant fact to the debate seems to me to be embodied in siamese twins.
Does either of them have the right to kill the other? No, of course. They’re attached, too, but they both have the right to live. Same with mother and baby. If a mother wants to kill her baby, maybe the mother deserves to die! She has homicidal intent, if you ask me, and has lower moral standing than an innocent baby. Just a thought. I realize I’m not making friends, here. Rape, incest, and threat to the life of the mother? Well, it’s not the baby’s fault. But I have to agree with Alabama. Rape and incest babies should still be brought to term. They can have full, rewarding lives as adoptees, and we shouldn’t get eugenic over incest. But mothers have to decide in the either me or the baby cases, whether or not to kill the kid. I have no qualms about that. Some mothers might even choose to die, like a mom throwing herself in front of her kid getting shot at or something. Adoption really needs to be emphasized. I think it gets overlooked and forgotten. Your “unwanted” baby really is in fact wanted.
On the other hand,
Before a heartbeat the fetus is kind of just a clump of cells, actually, especially if you don’t want or love the kid, and maybe it could be equated to swatting a fly or something. And everybody dies, eventually. Maybe an abortion is saving the kid from a life of grief, suffering, hell, nightmares, crime. I don't think anyone is in the position to say that. It would of course save the mother from the pain of giving birth. That seems to me to be a very selfish reason to snuff your kid, though, depriving him or her of an entire lifetime, and leaving potential adoptive parents without the opportunity to love him or her. I don’t know how you answer the question of what gives meaning to life, but I prefer the answer of having children to that of being an assassin. But that’s your decision, not mine. God is the creator, unless you’re Hindu and you believe in Kali, the destroyer (or is it Siva?). Maybe it’s all good. I hope it’s not all bad. Is a baby/fetus the moral equivalent of a krill?
