Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess
L-I'm a straight, virgo/boar INTJ (age 52) who enjoys books, getting out into nature, music, and daily exercise.

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Tears in Rain

hopefully, not my blog

from Blade Runner, "all these moments...will be lost..in time....like tears....in rain"

but they say everything is impermanent, even stars and the universe...    well, I guess you can say reality itself will always exist, by definition.  But not diamonds.  Ha.   "As good as dead",  "as dead as a doornail" don't inspire much hope.   "Bring us to eternal life" is hopelessly rhetorical.  Stay Alive! is my reading (don't be a zombie).

Teshara (my surname) has star in it (made from stardust!), also: an anagram of HA, TEARS.  I'm not bipolar, though.

When I was in jail, I had a cellmate named Four (Four-given!)

G-D is Good, Decent.  Hope you're Having a Good Day.

jazzy Jesse says jizz: judges, messages, palages (not palaces)(the 7 sins: pride avarice lust anger gluttony envy sloth.   Jewz?

wag!  I make Wages working for Wag.  I also used to work at Walgreens (wag, stock symbol).  I saw the movie Wag the Dog.  Barking up the wrong tree.   Wagons and Embarcadero.  (wag, bark).   woofers and tweeters.  Swag, scallawags, sewage!  (stowage, towage, etc.).   A barque is a boat.
