Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

What's Up, Doc

A rap

Whadup, peeples? Why, steeples!
What else is up? Stars and sky, clouds and moon, we'll get there soon
What's down, clown? Why, The center of the earth
what's the knowledge worth? Why, your baby's birth!
The sky! The opposite of down!
on this big blue marble, we're all underground
and will be, wear a trilby, you feel me?
What do I mean? What is this scene?
The north pole is under the south pole, if you keep going
if you're going through hell, keep going
it's showing, keep rowing
the earth is brown, earth is a noun
down town, up town, same old sound
watch is wound, lost and found
round and round, new day, new year
rotate and revolve, mysteries to solve
have a beer, eat a steer
good cheer, never fear
hear! Hear! We're here, very near
Britney spears, in your ear
run like a deer, from the hunter and his gear
ride in my lear, without peer
refrain from smear, that's the spir-it
let's hear if! For the meerkat, and all that
a kitkat, a tictac, bric a brac, frick and frack
a fraction of the friction makes for good diction
who won the eliction?
