Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess
L-I'm a straight, virgo/boar INTJ (age 52) who enjoys books, getting out into nature, music, and daily exercise.

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

A Law

Good morning, Berkeleyans!

hi
My name is Jesse. Jesse, like Jesse Jackson, James, Owens, Helms, Ventura.
Or the Christina Applegate sitcom of that name that ran on - from x to y.
Or Uncle Jesse, from either Dukes of Hazard, or Full House.
I am, in fact, an uncle. My brother Greg has 2 kids, Ben and Declan, x and y.
I'm also uncle jesse to Augustus, my friends Sara and Pierre's young boy.
They live in Portland. I might leave Berkeley, and go live with them. Cheaper rent.
My family lives in the Bay Area, though. And I like Berkeley. My roommates are mostly mexican.
I speak Spanish. My name in Spanish is Isai, or Chuy, or Jesus.
You can call me Jesus. I don't mind. Or, Zeus, for short.
I don't take the lord's name in vain, I hope. He seemed to do alright with mine.

My full name is Jesse Lawrence Teshara. My dad's name is Lawrence.
He goes by Mr. T, like his dad did, way before the A-Team was around.
Lawrence is spelled with 'law' and 'wren' in it. I guess you could call me Larry, too.
Teshara is a portuguese name. Some people think it's japanese. Maybe it is. It used to be Texeira, but the spelling was changed at Ellis Island, when z, my great-grandfather came over from Europe. Texeira is a common name there, I'm told. Teshara is an anagram for The Sara, and also As Earth, As Heart, As Hater, take your pick. Shat ear is one of the crazier ones. Makes me think of iron mike.

A jess is a falconry term: it's the strap around the bird's leg. Jessamine is jasmine.
So you can play with my name and come up with things like
Zeus Law as Earth, or Jesus, Larry shat ear, or Jess lore the Sara
or chewy ear law, or See S.J. wren as heart, or JC's law to share
or even, Jesus as hater. I jest! Hey, Zeus - lore int share, huh

I find this kind of thing fun, and you can do it with your own name, too.
There are anagram generators on the web, that can list thousands of permutations.
Names have a kind of power, but you can always change them.

Anyway, I'm not just Jesus and Zeus and Ra, the egyptian sun god I'm a law!
Law-rinse... maybe I should rinse my mouth. Isa is Jesus in arabic.
Jesse L can become jealousy. I'm sharing this with you (I'm to share). To Cher!

I'm adopted. PT is my mom. Riddle is my birthmom (a net!). Be rid of this dullness!
How many times is the word God used in the bible? (candle: can dull)

God is I AM. In french, J' suis (Jesse). J' taime (JT I am!)
I dated an Ellen (Covington) French in college. Lots of coveting.
Happy Noel. No elle. Go figure.
I'm JC (jesse). I've known LN, and KT, and written many SA's (essays), ha.
my name in chinese means something, too (i forget)

Merry Christmas, every One!
(god is one. money- my one!)
god is love. Jesus is the prince of peace. God is a man of war.
Another riddle. Batman's atman?  mow the lawn, pop?
Allah, a law; Teshara, to shariah!
