Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess
I'm a straight, virgo/boar INTJ (age 53) who enjoys books, getting out into nature, music, and daily exercise.

(my email is JesseGod@live.com)

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

My Day by Jesse Teshara

 Today

I took my night meds (lithium, depakote, haldol) and my morning med (amlodipine), I took my daily fish oil and multivitamin, I had breakfast of oatmeal orange juice and coffee, I gelled my hair, used underarm deodorant, brushed my teeth and my hair and used mouthwash,  I  got my bike helmet from Karen's, I brought my bike on Bart and picked up an application for Marea Alta in San Leandro for K and I, I had a quick fun chat with Julie Sam and Miette there, I ate two pastor tacos from los pericos, I did 300 pushups, I read some Economist, I read 1440 email newsletter, I cleaned the filter of my therapure air purifier, I bought a book on Amazon (Guide to getting it on, by Paul Joannides), I scheduled my Invega shot, and I talked to K while she was on break at work (Grocery Outlet, in Napa).   I uploaded photos to the blog.  I reviewed old texts on my phone.   I listened to music (whrb, wprb, wmbr).  I bought a chile relleno burrito from the nearby taco truck (tacos Sinaloa).  And I texted K and Mom and Greg, checked for a reply from Edgar Velazquez, landlord, who is presumably in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo (Acapulco, actually).  I opened snail mail, including from the DNC.  I got an email from my high school (SI, class of '89) about a 35th anniversary reunion on 11/2, $40, only classmates, in SF at the Italian Athletic Club in North Beach.  Took a quick nap and talked to K again.

Tomorrow, I have a social worker phone call in the morning, the strong need to help K find a place by the 20th, and a pile of paper to process, (books email economist trivia) to read, and food pantries to go to.  Plus the same hygiene, food, exercise, music, staying informed, and social stuff I did today.
