Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Banh Yawn

I dropped $50 at Rite-Aid, the closest food store (excluding a restaurant and 7-11).   The clerk told me all the baskets were stolen.   I was the only person in the (giant) store.  I got a gatorade (orange), V8 (carrot ginger), pistachios (shelled), nesquick (chocolate), pringles (sour cream), chocolate bar (ferrero rocher), cheerios (honey nut), cheezits, miso soup, and prunes.

Greg texted me.  Today is Sara’s birthday.  I don’t remember if she ever told me what time she was born.  There are a couple updates on her instagram.  Banh Mi and I walked.   She pooped.  I’ve already fed Felix (his?) 8 mealworms.   Maybe I should space them out.  Listening to whrb.  The plan is to read, read, read.  Short stories the whole time, maybe.  I’ve eaten some salami, a kombucha, and leftovers.  I have Ryze mushroom coffee I brought with me (2 cups/day).  I have a $50 Bollywood theater gift card (it’s a restaurant, actually).  I got Korean barbecue yesterday (bulgogi).   Kate and Michael both want me to get some books.  I haven’t tested Pierre’s bike, yet.  Pierre got a giant package.  That’s what she said, lol.  Anyway, I took a selfie with Banh Mi, and she’s yawning, which makes it look like she’s attacking me.   She’s not.   She’s sweet.
