Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Immortality

 How to Live Forever

Make a zillion dollars, have a zillion kids, leave a legacy like Disney or a religion like Jesus, and make sure the earth doesn’t become unlivable.  Live long enough to upload your consciousness into a computer.  Try being a vampire.  Survive your life - don’t get killed.  Define what it is that is “you” and keep those elements alive.  Finally, make everybody you.   Everybody might not live forever, but you’ll last a lot longer than the biologically-allotted 120 years.  I think you should write books, for immortality.   It’s one approach among many.   But I enjoy it, anyway.  Beats running around in the dark trying to bite people’s necks, no?  Or you could just believe in heaven, and keep your fingers crossed.  Hahahahahaha.

How to Make a zillion dollars

Imitate Jeff Bezos or Carlos Slim or Bill Gates or Elon Musk or Warren Buffett or Sam Walton.  Surround yourself with talent.  Meet a need.  Work hard, be smart.  Invest and grow and adapt.  Stay hungry.  Immerse yourself in money, business, accounting, finance, economics, stocks and bonds, investments, corporate growth, trade, and the Big Picture.  Keep learning, and stay agile, ruthless, and innovative.  Read a lot.  Especially biographies.  Get an excellent education, and make valuable connections.  Offer the best product or service, and have a better corporate culture than your competition, too.   Bring out the best in people.  Make the world a better place.  Create an experience.

How to have a zillion kids

Marry a woman who wants them.  Donate to sperm banks, often.  Start a religion like Abraham, and be in God’s favor.  Fuck many women, often.  Have a harem, and be good at sex, providing pleasure.  Have good genes, and good sperm, and lots of sexy resources that attract the baby mamas.  I think that’s it.   Don’t live in a country that only permits 2 kids.  Have healthy children, and don’t be incestuous, and be a good dad.  Confidence is sexy.  Be fruitful and multiply.  Be good to your family, and have and instill a work ethic to support everyone.  Have wealth and status and good looks and play your cards right.  Power is an aphrodisiac.  Be in love, and stay faithful.  Women are not baby-machines, who just keep pumping them out.  But you can have what you can afford.

How to leave an enduring legacy

Brand with your name.  Write a ton of best-selling books.  Become a household name, with something that appeals to everyone, like fun or heaven or beauty or experience (such as experiencing taboo or criminal behavior vicariously, through the characters in engaging books).    Create something that has enduring value, that people will want to replicate and preserve.   If God created Nature, and only God is good, and we want to go to heaven, then we should respect Creation, and conserve natural beauty, and be of service to Animalia and ecosystems, of which we are a part, and on which we rely (for food, oxygen, mental health, and things like zoos or safari or hunting or pets).  Earth and its beauty are in fact the Heaven for which we strive.  So stop polluting, burning, killing, paving paradise, and profoundly disrespecting Nature, such as in factory farms or overfishing or diminishing our friends’ habitats and converting every lovely natural resource into products, money, and inputs for capitalism.  If we want to survive, we better shape up, and maintain our ecology as much as our economy.    We better invest in keeping Earth as much as we prepare to colonize the stars.   And we better love each other as much as we love ourselves.
