Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess
I'm a straight, virgo/boar INTJ (age 53) who enjoys books, getting out into nature, music, and daily exercise.

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Money Plan

Lottery, or a “melding” of personal passion and profitability-

I’m spending it on: most bang for the buck in making the world an even better place (consult Bill Gates, Mackenzie Scott (formerly Bezos)…everybody, actually), development corporations?

Basic Needs: clean water, healthy food, shelter and clothing, sanitation, peace and prosperity, healthcare as a human right, ending the extinction event.  Yoga and pools and libraries and internet, publishing my blog, legalizing drugs, popularizing vegetarianism (and stigmatizing carnism), consistent life ethic, respect.  Adoption.  Prison libraries.  Personal Fun:  House, pool, restaurants, travel, books.  Massage, gym membership, repaying SSA, money for Greg n Liz, Mom, Michael, Sara n Pierre, Julie n Sam, Marlen n Austin, Kate, Teresa n Johnny, Karen.  Prison reform, tablets.   Wikipedia.   Back to school.  Masd and personal trainer.  Buying the full list of books.  Tony Robbins.  SWBP.  UN.  Ending homelessness, drug addiction, obesity.  Consult KP.  Start my own religion! Love thy neighbor.  Love thyself.  Love everyone, everybody, everywhere, everywhen.

Virtues: Veganism, anti-carnism activism, stop the extinctions, global internet, libraries and free educations, doctors without borders, buddhism, peace and prosperity, clean energy, clean water and sanitation for all, lifting out of poverty, healthcare for all - a human right,  escape from the hell of animals, prisoners, slaves, victims - less obscene wealth concentration and more generosity, charity, goodwill, toward effective means of progress, sanity, bliss.  PBS!

Plant trees, legalize drugs, protect the rainforest, only eat plants, read everything, exercise daily for improvement: be strong, fit, healthy, well, and sane!; you should be getting it once a week!, massage, if not sex; get out into Nature, walk, refresh your soul, meditate, stretch, do yoga, early to bed and early to rise, be productive, make every moment count, enjoy life, have fun, play!   Be happy, make people laugh, be remembered for warmth and kindness.  Don’t be a dick.  SSSSSS!!!  sweat daily, stretch, swim, self-defense, sex, and schooling!  Never stop learning, growing, improving.  Make a difference.  Be good.  Be great.  Be better, best.  Be perfect!  If you’re going through hell, keep going.  Just do it.   Action, not words.  Love.  Be God.  Make your life epic, ethical, and irenic.  The force is with you.

Meet a need, make money, live your passion, work hard, find your purpose, make progress, make a difference, make the world a better place, make love, and set an example, be a leader, create growth, help others, enjoy life, the world is your playground, satisfy your soul, be thankful, grateful, appreciative; learn from the mistakes of others, make your own mistakes, no regrets!  Love life, and be a force of nature.  Make an impact.  Crush your goals.  Complete your bucket list.  Learn to speed-read, and read daily.  Be all that you can be.   Reach your potential.  Go to sleep tired, wake refreshed, every single day.  Be free.  Take charge of your life.  Make it worthwhile, look back on it with pride.  Fight for what is right.  Be kind.

I was an International Relations major, at UCD.  Emphasis: Third-World Development.   I’d like to re-take a class in the Sociology of development, that I dropped out of.   And be fluent in Spanish, again.  Maybe live in Davis.  Or go to Cal.  It’s all me, already?  Just look inside.   Meditate, and consult, and act.  Ask God for guidance.  Ha.

Immediate purchases:  Edgar rent and wifi, SSA, KP, Mom, LGBD, SPAH.  Gym.  FA, cs monitor.  Phone plan with unlimited.  All the trivia.  Trivia crack.  Not all trivia is trivial.   You can forget the trivia, but remember the relevant, important, interesting, and fun.
