Abortion, is it interesting?

Shun being a bore!  Killing your baby is exciting, I guess.  Then again, childbirth isn’t exactly sensory deprivation, either.   A B or T?  huh?  And what do charged particles have to do with it (ions) ?   Well, some think abortion is positive, others negative.  I pulled that one out of my hat!   Boring Ions become interesting, when we’re talking about human babies!  A B or T, a baby or a cross (to bear).   Geez, this word is packed.   It even has OR, as in choice.  Okay, I’ll stop being crazy and deconstructionist (although boredom, particles, choice, and crosses turn out to be surprisingly relevant).   There's also ABO blood type.  Bloody hell, man.

There are 98 pages of Justice Alito (draft decison).  I read the first 8.  He’s logical and ordered, and I guess I’ll trust him to make an intelligent decision.  I don’t want to read 98 pages.   I can do that.  I’m not on the court.  I’m not even a lawyer!  Different things are interesting to different people.  I’m shunning boredom.  Then again, maybe it's interesting.  I haven't read it.  Don't knock it til you've tried it, lol.   J/k.

In other news, I finished the (almost 1000 page) DFW book, Infinite Jest, yesterday.  About time.

Chemical abortions aren’t nearly as nasty and gruesome as the d&e kind

It’s morally the equivalent of a steak

Overpopulation

Ensures all children are wanted

Rape and incest and life of the mother

Devil approves

Sex is fun, best sex is uninhibited

Perhaps fetus not quite human yet

Fetus equivalent to a tumor, leech

If illegal, women will die from unsafe abortions

Truth; Reinforces people as basically meat (not souls)

Life begins at conception

Adoption!!  Love your kid, (and yourself)

Morally repugnant: mothers murdering their own children

Not a tumor.   A human being.  Helpless, too.

   More like a siamese twin, connected to mother

If abortion is legal, human life is degraded, 

   murder of adults, by extension, becomes logical, if not permitted

Procreative sex is better? (says priests who take a vow of chastity)

   Reproduction as giving meaning, purpose to life

I truly see both sides

I don’t care

If it were my kid, I’d want it to live

Maybe some people shouldn’t be having kids

Adoption is a loving choice, and not an immoral choice

So, adoption demand, 

Some sources estimate that in the US, about 2m couples are waiting to adopt

Which is a 36:1 ratio of couples waiting to adopt for every one child placed for adoption (!)

The number of couples waiting to adopt (US)= x,

The average child waiting for adoption waits more than 3 years 

So, dozens of couples competing for each child

The demand for adoptions meets or exceeds the number of abortions, is my point.
