The Case for War
People hate each other. Overpopulation. People are a drain on resources. Good for economy. Stimulates innovation. Puts soldiers to work. Fun for the psychos. Makes the devil happy. Repressed hatred released, a social safety valve. People suck. Some people are demons, and need bloodshed. War is exciting. A slow news cycle. If it bleeds, it leads. Always something for history. Gives soldiers stories to tell their grandchildren. A little drama. Because God likes a good fight. Peace was boring. Destruction is necessary, for rebuilding better. Chess is war. An exercise in strategy and tactics and game theory. Keeps people on their toes. The peacemakers, like priests and diplomats, are full of shit. It’s only natural, for humans. Ants go to war, too. Combat, fighting is an art. Martial arts and self-defense, without rules, with weapons, and between entire societies, is god and the devil’s litte game, entertainment, the manipulation of little people. Master of puppets likes to see how far he can take things, and perform the perfect crime. Because people have it coming, karma, revenge, just desserts. Levels the playing field, so to speak. Blowing things up is a blast. War is the bomb. Death is the price of sin. It gets people’s juices flowing, and is, in fact, sexy. Killing soldiers is the way toward peace, peace through victory, peace through strength.
The Case for Peace
War is hell, suffering. It is unfair, unjust, cruel, stupid. People die, soldiers, civilians, men, women, children. People lose limbs, get burned, go blind, starve. It can escalate to ridiculous levels of hate, suffering, pain, destruction, like nuclear bombs, which is supposedly unthinkable. Peace and harmony are heavenly. Love always wins. Hate, spite, malice, and revenge can be a function of criminal justice, not the military industrial complex. You’ve got to let love rule. War is not the answer. Unless the question is what does W-a-r spell? Peace and prosperity and equality and justice and loving kindness and compassion are self-evidently superior to anger, rage, wrath, fury, madness, insanity, twisted cruelty, and torture. Trauma and mental illness and ptsd and resentment and opportunity costs of war all speak to its wicked, evil, sinful, criminal, depraved nature. Making people happy makes people happy. Virtue and integrity to your better angels, your higher self, make life worth living. Endless revenge is a recipe for misery and suicide and poverty and premature death. Life is good! Harmony is to be pursued with all means at our disposal, and the penury, disease, death, destruction, misery, and savagery of our basest nature is to be channeled into creative outlets like videogames, movies, music, paintball, mma, and sports competitions when and wherever possible. Extinguish resentment and kindle kindness, so we can get on with our lives, with all its blessings, rewards, hobbies, merits, learning, prosperity, and fun. Peace out.
