"He's boastful, conceited, rude, just like a spoiled rich kid.  But he is President so let's try to make lemonade."   I said I was ignoring him, and that I don't watch tv, anyway.   Sara said, you should have responded, "it's hard to think like that when 60k people died a month."  I told them, Biden is the lemonade.

The US (coronavirus pandemic) confirmed case count went over a million, yesterday.  And there have been more deaths (in the US) than the number of (US soldier) casualties in Vietnam.
    Worldwide, there have been over 3 million cases.
     218,182 deaths, and counting.  921,000 recoveries.
58,318 u.s. armed forces died in Vietnam.
(1 million, 450 thousand casualties in the war, all sides.)

   what's happening is Hope.  A thought, a calculation:  If, Then.
        IF there is a Higher Power, THEN keep me alive
    soldiers might be better off preparing than praying.
    but hope is helpful!

Thank God for the Media, and the Internet, for fact-checking, critical thinking, and truth.  There's a wikipedia page devoted to "veracity of statements by Donald Trump."
He tells an average of 15 falsehoods/day.
According to politifact, 70% of his campaign statements were F or M.
He doesn't deserve media coverage.  He is a source of (almost nothing but) disinformation.

If there's lemonade to be found in this lemon, it's the need for Critical Thinking...  and the collective sigh of relief, upon the election of Joseph R. Biden.
