I voted for him, last time
And I will again, if he becomes the nominee.
However,
His terminology is weird.
He doesn't mean what the rest of the world means when he uses the words "socialism" or "revolution". Revolutions, like the French Revolution or Russian revolution, are not something we want. The Beatles sang a song called 'Revolution', with the reply we all want to change your head.
And I think the world is pretty good, as it is.
But it could be FAR better without Trump as president.
We need a Green New Deal, for example. All of us. Humanity.
But Bernie.
He's old, and I've had enough of grumpy old men, as well as constant beggars.
My friend Sara even thinks he's the democratic version of Trump.
He's been hoarse, red-faced, shouting, adversarial, and unpleasant.
I'll send him his damned $2.70, but I prefer Warren.
She's smart, eloquent, knows the problems we face (especially from Wall Street), has actual policy plans prepared, and wants to use the presidency to DO things, to do GOOD, and not just simply to BE the president, for fun or kicks or fame, or whatever. Plus, it's about time we had a woman president. She kept the name Warren because she's a fighter, right? Good for her.
Furthermore, I actually like billionaires. I have nothing against them.
I mean, why NOT take their money??
Bill Gates and Warren Buffett and Jeff Bezos are not necessarily the enemy.
I mean they have to hire people to spend their money (!), because they have so much, they couldn't possibly figure out how to spend it all (at least, intelligently), I believe.
But I especially like Bill, and his efforts to solve major problems in the world through his philanthropy. And taking their money doesn't necessarily make you beholden to them. It's the other way around. It means THEY support YOU, and your PLANS. Right??
And maybe they don't. But if they do, you shouldn't exclude them, just because they're rich.
I'd be interested in knowing who they endorse, actually.
Eleemosynary is a fun word. It's pronounced ele-moss-in-ary, I just learned. Look it up.
Anyway, Trump hit a home run with me, today, with his criticism of US cities that are going to hell with all the homeless on the streets. I happen to agree. I don't want our cities to be ugly and blighted with tents and trash, like I see in Oakland and San Francisco. Skid rows are depressing and unnecessary. I don't know what Trump proposes to do about it, but I think Yang has the right idea, with the UBI (Universal Basic Income), which is most certainly and probably a better idea than whatever Trump might come up with.
I still like Bernie. I agree with him that it's wrong that the 3 billionaires have more money than the bottom entire half of the US population. It's obscene, actually. Apple, Amazon, and Walmart are economic juggernauts, and their wealth should go toward actual (global?) human welfare and happiness, and not just corporate coffers, and payments to stockholders.
Okay, peace out. Let's dump Trump.
