Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2500 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

My Life, of late

getting an Economist subscription, reading A volume (#1) of World Book (from library), walking dogs, blogging, oversleeping, taking my meds, trying to fix my tv, Hearts of Space, being a listener.   Today I bought a chile relleno burrito, with a can of cherry Coke.  I think I'm going to see Hoppers, this Thursday.  I'm hoping and praying my roommate doesn't get evicted.   A local store (Popeye's market) took my phone number; he said he would call me when the cheap cigarettes ($7.50/pack) are in, for her.

carrots and sticks, or carats and Styx?

window pane, cruller, jalapeño, propane, herz, couch, (words will never hurt me)

Rocky, can you do me a solid?  Why should boulders be bolder?  are Oliver Stone and The Rock petrified (scared)? a blockhead with a heart of stone.  The trouble with roubles is the rubble.

I looked for a YouTube video of the Japanese prime minister playing drums in her old college metal group, :-)
