Apparently, Putin thought the Russia-Ukraine war would be over in a week or something, so I can understand his perspective of gaining $26T worth of value to Russia from the conquest of Ukraine, at the cost of a few thousand soldiers or whatever. But that logic has proved quite wrong, although $750B isn't $26T, so the world awaits to see what will happen. Everyone wants peace! Even and especially the soldiers, right? This stalemate of horror is madness, and I hope Good Sense will win the day.
