Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess
I'm a straight, virgo/boar INTJ (age 54) who enjoys books, getting out into nature, music, and daily exercise.

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Thinking about Thought

My mind is mine.

Minors are miners?

I share my mind.  I speak my mind.  I write my mind.

Thought goes unheard.

A “sound mind" is like what the speed-readers call subvocalization (?)

There are telepathic voices, auditory hallucinations, for the "spiritually open"

like shared, corporate, borg minds - or different stations, networks

Unless the noise annoys !

I don’t want to hear yours, and I don’t want others trying get inside mine.

Digging around, in there, unearthing nuggets.

Pray without ceasing?   That’s crazy.

Unless all thought is a prayer.

Our relationship and communication with God, Natural.   What it is.

Drown out the thought with headphones.

Replace the automatic internal flow with music, tv, reading.

I hate commercials.  TV is manipulative, stupid, and infuriating.

Heaven is a kind of library.

I like dreams.  Customized TV, from God to me.

Some people stay on one channel.  Others surf everything.

The rain in my brain, the stream of consciousness

don't be a drip, she said, so I gushed

ice-breakers, making a splash

babbling brook, washing on your shore

do we need our brains to be so Interactive?

Medic Kate thing, and of course, Flo
