Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

Juice

Well, good morning.  Up around 8:45a, from the living room, this time.  I have my computer and cord, my keys, my pouch, ZAMM, had a couple cups of coffee, and the house is quiet, with k asleep.  Aaron almost pressed charges on k 2 nights ago.  He gave me a number to see what it was about (?), on the website or something.   Almost everyone but k keeps to themselves, a quiet and boring house,  which isn’t a bad thing.   It’ certainly not a den of vice and iniquity, or rapes and murders and other depravity.   Just relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet, the calm, and respect everyone.    That’s what I think.

Today I might go to the bank for Patricia, with a lot of money.   She’s worried I’ll get robbed.  I’m not.  Also, she needs her closet cleaned out.   A lot of stuff for Goodwill, maybe.   Although Out of the Closet is closer.  And makes sense, too.

I walk Snoopy and Shelby on Wednesday and Friday.   I need to be frugal.   I have like $20 total, right now, in WF.    But like $400 more, and the BTC.   And $50 Amazon.   And x EBT (like $50, too?).   And $25 (1977 bills) in my wallet (which I should exchange for more modern bills at the bank).  I’ll live.   Just less restaurant meals, and taco truck burritos.  I think it will be a good thing for Kelli to have her own computer.    I’m hoping that happens.   I don’t think K and Ida have talked this month.   But they probably should.    Maybe I’ll earn a little extra doing chores for Patricia and Karen, like going on medication runs to Target, or whatever.   I want to make origami for Rose Marie, just for fun, before I see her next time.  She’s 88 tomorrow.  HH.  Her Holiness (!).  She's a nun.   Don't call her Aunty Christ, though!   Mom is still 76.  I mean, why not?   August of ’43.  She’s 82.  I actually had to calculate that.   6 years apart from her older sister.

Kelli needs to move her car today, and contact Kaiser, and talk to Ida, and maybe look for a job.   The house is immaculate.   She’ll probably find some dusty corner to slave away at, though.   Aaron wants her to look at his police report.   That wouldn’t hurt, either.  K gets overwhelmed, and likes to sleep, so she might do nothing.    Which is better than a lot of somethings.  We fixed the wall yesterday.    Most of the mirrors are still up, but they’re all covered.  The Alexa keeps falling out of the outlet (argh).   K ran the hair dryer with the space heater and blew a fuse or something.   Aaron flipped the breaker switch last night, which I don’t really know how to do, and have never done.   I know it’s simple, I just don’t grok the general concept.   The house has juice now.

Eddie plays at asking me about kitchen shit, like I’m the boss.   It’s annoying.  I don’t care what he does (mostly).  He needs to learn English, I need to refresh my Spanish, and rules like the 10a to 10p washing machine hours need to be respected, if you ask me.  Well, it’s Monday, a new week.  Tomorrow is a busy KP day, with a call from Dr. Sallee (10:30a) and an appointment with Dr. Rush (11:30a).  I get a hundred dollars on Friday, and I should go to Oakland maybe, too.   That’s it.   Today is M 10/13.   I’ll just do my routine, and take my daily fish oil capsule, my men’s multivitamin, my astragalus, and take a shower, use deodorant, and smell nice.    Get back to reading Pirsig.  I ordered 5 Terry Pratchett books from Amazon, for K (and I).  I hope she reads them, and gets as much joy from them as I did.  I want to give ‘Going Postal’ to the mail carrier for Christmas, maybe.  The rest will make good gifts for my nephews, I think.
