What’s the deal with speaking in tongues?   Could he speak Swahili?

People think they’ve met Jesus, know Jesus.  Washed in the blood of Jesus.  

Jesus was really something.   Nobody knows what that thing is.   I mean, he died 2000 years ago.  It’s all hearsay.   You can base your life (and eternity) on this nonsense, but I wouldn’t.

I think people are crazy.  Crazy about Jesus, yes, among so many other things.   I like the in the present now perspective, with the things in front of you front and center.  Be present.  Be aware.  You are a rock.   You can do the Data from Star Trek thing and do an internal diagnostic.   You can read the news, etc.  and do an external diagnostic.  You are an object, a thing, and an animal.   You are designed to survive and reproduce.  You are a human being, just like all 8.1 billion other human beings, with the other 108-117 billion dead human beings beforehand.   We are glorified apes.  We really are amazing.  But we suck, too.  God help us.  Be good.  Make a difference.  Do your best.  Fight evil.   Don’t be wicked, corrupt, depraved, sinful, or immoral.   Give your life meaning, and be proud of yourself.  Be a part of the solution, not the problem.   Devote your life to Goodness.   Or God, you could say.  Yada yada.  Make me a channel of your peace.  Meditate in silence.  You can be happy for no reason.   But there are so many reasons!

Ghost-state.   Like you can switch between the physical and spiritual.   Just toggle your self to whatever setting you want to be in.   Weird, nuts, if you ask me.  It’s all physical.   I’m a materialist.  I know light and radio waves and microwaves can appear magical or miraculous or even “spiritual,”   but it’s all physics.  Our “souls” are our bodies, and we’re all headed for a dusty end.   Perish in hell?  If you’re averse to Reality.   You suffer, when you don’t get what you want.  If you don’t want to suffer, just accept the universal fate, and be One with Reality, it’s okay.   xx.   Preferences are fine.  Like it's okay to want to live a long time.  But conditions and demands get unpleasant.  UCD.   Alma mater.   Go Ags!   Going, going, gone.
