Welcome!

I, God, welcome you to my blog!

The good book says only God is good, so it seems to me somebody needs to step up.

I hope you enjoy reading this, the Jesse Journal, as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please feel free to subscribe, write me an email, request that I write about any particular topic you may want my perspective on, send a prayer, click on the charity link, or donate money to my bicycle fund! Have fun!

Your pal, Jess

F.Y.I. There are about 2200 posts..

Here's a quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky to start things off right: Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

The Doors

Of Perception

Open door policy.   Bedroom.   Unlocked, almost always.   When home.   Even when asleep.  Use the force.   Disturbance in the force leads to turning the lock on the knob.

Gate and door, front of the house.   1 or both locked, at all times (unless you’re sitting on the porch).

Sliding door, back of the house.   Open, if you want air to flow through front to back, between windows, etc.   Closed if you think rats might come in, (like overnight).

Bathroom doors.  Just indicate if the room is being used or not.   Knock if the door is closed.

Kitchen doors.   If people are sleeping, keep them closed, for respectful acoustics.

Also, flatulence.   Keep the door open, air circulating.  Blast the fan, open the window.   Pre-emptive dismissing yourself to the bathroom!  Be in tune with your body.   What you eat, drink.   I take a stool softener.   Know what’s in your belly / gut.

BART says, The Doors are opening.  Please stand clear of the doors.   (‘clear’ makes me think of a Harry Pottery invisibility cloak (and Scientology), and “the doors” elicits the 70’s rock band, The Doors (you know, Jim Morrison).

Door can be broken into ‘do or’, as in do or die.     Like, the fight or flight response.

J’adore and adoration and dormant and dork and dorm and Dora the explorer and Dory the fish (Finding Dory) with a dorsal fin…

Backwards is rood!  How rude.  -essej’s message

It can also be rearranged into ‘odors’

Keep ‘em separated!
