Is it You? A telepath? A computer?
Words, sounds, dreams, visions, phantom sensations
You hear a voice? You may not be schizophrenic. It doesn't need to be pathologized. You may just be spiritually open. Or lonely and talking to yourself or an invisible friend or something.
People are objects, things, bodies, tubes, biomass, dolls, robots, machines, chemicals
People are food and drink minus pee and poo.
People are flesh and bones, tissue and organs, muscles ligaments and tendons, biochemicals, mostly water
God is Reality and Good and therefore all the persons, places, things, ideas, and roles that make up our lives.
Don't believe everything you think, or hear. In fact, you might want to consider believing Absolutely Nothing.
Hear a voice? Considerations: I don't know who you are, if you're you, if you're a person even. I don't know if you are friend, foe, neutral, or chaotic. I don't know if you have my interests/ best interests at heart / in mind. I don't know if you are evil or good.
My advice: Be yourself, do you, believe in Self and Love and Truth as you see it, by your lights. Amen.
A voice is only problematic if it is unwanted. If you think it's someone in your head who you don't want, or who is saying things you don't want to hear, or maybe even the general principle of the thing: I want silence, leave me alone, shut up, go away, talk to someone else or something. The phrase "open-minded" makes it seem like a good thing to have the whole world babbling in your head or something, or to reject no one. I believe in the right to Silence, and freedom from intrusion or interruption or control or bother. If voice(s) hinder your functioning, then everybody says you need medication. Maybe the goddamn telepath(s) need to shut the fuck up already. If welcome, babble away. If not, sh. Maybe prayer and meditation (and writing blogs!) is as effective as drugs. Hit that shit with all four, maybe.
