for a happier year ahead
Food, meds, drugs, exercise, sleep, look good feel good, measurable progress, new habits, the people around you, your activities, where you are situated, books, hobbies, relationships, variety, nature, comedy, leisure, sex, pleasure, music, meditation, routines, stretching, favorite tv shows and movies, travel, take a shower, use a hot tub, ice bath, talk to strangers, play different roles (jobs, hats, settings), and silence.
some sample new year's resolutions-
do pushups everyday, drink one can of Coke a week for my soda quota, read all the best short stories, go through all the J! archive, read the World Book Encyclopedia, meditate daily, read all my masd literature, learn all the jokes, write a book...
p.s. It's the Year of the Horse, chinese zodiac, if you were wondering... I love horses
successfully battle evil and crime: ... less kidnapping, rape, slavery, trafficking... pedophiles, anal rape, beatings and brutality, predatory reprobates, exploitation, murder, torture.
vice and sin, like cigarettes, offensive driving, drugs (and things like excessive sugar), and of course the Catholic list of horrifying wickedness (lol): Pride, Avarice, Lust, Anger, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth. (the 4 cardinal virtues are: Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance)
The 7 heavenly virtues are (the opposite of the 7 sins): humility, charity, kindness, patience, temperance, chastity, diligence.
Of course, you can change Nothing, but just decide to be happier
