Maybe because there are so many slights in life - you will never get even.
Or, simply, because there is no afterlife.

Paradise is a city in California, near Chico. They have a library and public pool.
Heavenly is a ski resort.
Heaven is a nightclub in London.
Hell is a village in Norway.
