my voice has been repeating this, today-

interpretations: (literally dead, metaphorically dead)

a. people have just been killed

b. people have just died (from covid, say)

c. (some) people are zombies

d. (all) people are zombies

plus others, like e. Grateful Dead, f. p-pull and "little death", 

   g. DEAD: dad-e, dae D, etc. 

   h. people, pope el/le 

i. (plus, of course, there's the utterly prosaic interpretation, the people in history that are dead r ded)

j. ...not alive, not (alive!), (but not zombie, either)

insane, in sin;  sanity, saint 

weep deeply, creep.   meat cleaver? me, neither.

steadfast sadist, baron byron, prince of wales/ p.o.w., coughin' in a coffin

but Munich, butt munch, bunch of mutts; busy byzantines
